In memory

A special way to pay tribute to a loved one when they pass away is by asking friends and family to remember them by making a memorial donation to SCIA (Spinal Cord Injury Australia). Some people choose to remember the life of a loved one by making a donation in lieu of flowers at the funeral or memorial service. 'In memory' gifts are used to support the vital services we provide for people with spinal cord injuries.

Organising the funeral of a loved one can be immensely stressful and we are thankful to those who choose to ask for donations to SCIA at this difficult time.

We will send a letter and receipt to every person who makes an ‘in memory’ donation.

Create an online in memory donation page

Personalise an online donation page in a few simple steps and ask family and friends to join you in celebrating the life of a loved one.

The In Memory page only takes a few minutes to set up and allows your family and friends to donate and add their tributes to this page easily, safely and securely - wherever they are, whenever they want to.

How it works

Personalising a page is quick and easy. In a few simple steps your memorial page is ready for all to see.

Sharing your page by email or on your social networks means friends and family can contribute to your page wherever they are in the world.

Updating your page is easy. Once you have created a page, you can sign in at any time to make changes and to thank those family and friends who have donated.

Donation Envelopes

Should you wish to have donation envelopes to be handed out at the funeral or memorial services, please contact 1800 819 775 or info@scia.org.au and we will arrange to send them to you.
